NBA Scores from Dec. 7: Steve Nash, Rasheed Wallace and Dwayne Wade lead their teams to wins.

Steve Nash had 42 points and 13 rebounds and Shawn Marion had 33 points and 9 rebounds as the Phoenix Suns (11-6) beat the New Jersey Nets (7-11) 161-157 in a double overtime shootout. It was the Suns eighth straight win. Jason Kidd finished with a triple-double for the Nets with 38 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists. Vince Carter added another 31 points for the Nets.

The Detroit Pistons (12-7) snapped their two game losing streak with a 92-82 win over the Dallas Mavericks (13-6). Rasheed Wallace scored 19 points while shooting 5-8 from beyond the arch. Wallace grabbed 9 rebounds as well. Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavericks with 29 points. Dallas has lost two of their last three after winning twelve straight.
 
The Miami Heat (8-10) handed Sacramento (8-10) their fifth straight loss as the beat the Kings 93-91 in overtime. Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 32 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists while Udonis Haslem grabbed rebounds. Sacramento was led by Mike Bibby who finished with 20 points.
