In the wake of Kristen Stewart’s shocking cheating scandal, her longtime boyfriend Robert Pattinson has moved some of his belongings out of the Los Angeles home they share. It is unclear where the 26-year-old is now staying.
People magazine reports Pattinson, 26, is “heartbroken and angry” over Stewart’s brief fling with Rupert Sanders, the director of her latest film Snow White and the Huntsman. Stewart issued a public apology to Pattinson Wednesday after Us Weekly magazine published pictures of her kissing Sanders during a secret rendezvous in Los Angeles on July 17.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," Stewart, 22, said in a statement.
Insiders say Stewart and Sander’s fling was “just a fleeting moment that shouldn't have happened.” "She wasn't having an affair with Rupert,” a source told People. “She never meant to hurt anyone. She's a good person who just made a bad choice.”
Sanders, 41, also apologized to his wife, model and actress Liberty Ross, and their two children Wednesday in a statement. "I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family," Sanders told People. "My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."
