Hurricane Bill Continues to Gain Strength in Atlantic, Bermuda in its Sights

Hurricane Bill, the Atlantic’s first hurricane of the season, continues to gain strength in the open waters and is now believed to be on track to hit Bermuda by the end of the week.

Already packing winds of over 100 mph, Hurricane Bill is now a Category 2 storm stretching 300 miles across and capable of causing serious flooding and wind damage to structures.

According to the U.S. National Hurricane Center “The system is certainly large and eventually will become a powerful hurricane.”
