TD Bank, and TD Banknorth are announced that their employees, customers and the TD Charitable Foundation have donated more than $1 million to the Special Olympics as part of a initiative of organization's "Be a FAN!".

The funds raised at over 1,000 TD Bank and TD Banknorth locations from Maine to Florida and also online, from June 1 to July 31, 2009, will be distributed to state-based Special Olympics programs.
