Robert Pattinson is planning to have a “man to man chat” with Rupert Sanders about the director’s fling with Kristen Stewart, an insider tells RadarOnline.
"Rob wants to have a man to man chat with Rupert to find out exactly what happened between him and Kristen," the source says. "Kristen has already betrayed his trust by cheating, so he can't be sure that she will tell him exactly what went on between her and Rupert. Rupert has a wife and a family to save, so Rob feels like he has nothing left to lose and would be honest with him."
Stewart confessed to having a brief fling with Sanders, the director of her latest film Snow White and the Huntsman, on Wednesday after Us Weekly magazine published pictures of them kissing. She also apologized to Pattinson, who she has been dating for several years.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," Stewart said.
Sanders released a statement saying he is “utterly distraught” about the pain he caused his wife Liberty Ross. "My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together,” he said.
