Labelled British, the official South African importer of Ian Poulter’s golf and lifestyle apparel (IJP Designs), is pleased to announce that its current base of stockists have seen great sales of its ranges and is seeing stockists doubling up on their orders. The increasing sales have made it the fastest growing franchise of the IJP Designs worldwide group.
Kevin Kyle, Managing Director of Labelled British commented, “We are finding that there isn’t much competition in the stylish end of the South African golf market. We are also finding that the other brands cannot compete in terms of style and functionality, with the design aspect being of high importance. All the other companies offer up pretty standard items.”
Labelled British is finding that a wide age group between the ages of 30 to 50 are the largest part of their market. With the Johannesburg and Cape Town golf markets showing the most interest.
Kyle added further that, “Design, functionality and technicality all combine to make a superior product than what is currently available.”
Labelled British also said that IJP Designs started as a niche golf apparel company but is now re-positioning to find a better mix between golf and lifestyle.
Ian Poulter himself has been quoted as saying, “If I feel good about my clothes, I feel good about my game – it’s very much like that satisfaction you have when driving away in a freshly cleaned car, it just seems to run that little bit better.”
