Stand-Up Comedian Paula Poundstone Guests on Animal Radio

Stand-Up Comedian and Author, Paula Poundstone, will guest host America’s most-listened-to pet talk, Animal Radio®, Saturday August 4th, noon eastern on XM Satellite Radio channel 166 and 102 AM/FM affiliates.
 
Appearing on stage with a stool, a microphone and a can of Diet Pepsi, Paula is famous for her razor-sharp wit and spontaneity.
 
Paula currently has 16 cats.  She is tired of getting that judgmental “gasp” when she tells people, who always then ask how she got 16.  She replies, “I had 15 and I got one more.  This really concerns me about America’s relationship with math – it’s not that hard to figure out!”  
 
Animal Radio® Host Hal Abrams states, “Most comedians can’t ad lib a fart after a baked bean dinner… but Paula is just as wild on stage as she is on the phone!”
 
When asked who takes care of the litters, Paula says she does.  Besides having a callous on her hand, she says “I’m always kind of vibrating ever so slightly from the sifting motion.  My hand is always kind of rocking a little bit and people sometimes think it’s some sort of neurological problem!”  She also worries about her kid’s college funds, because she spends it all on litter!
