Lakeview Health Systems Awarded High Score
By Department of Children and Families
The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) has given the inpatient addiction treatment center Lakeview Health Systems a rating of 99.7 out of a possible 100 during its annual survey.
The State of Florida sets forth certain regulations and statutes each addiction treatment facility must follow. The DCF conducts an annual three-day survey to measure each facility's adherence to these policies.
The DCF visited Jacksonville-based Lakeview Health Systems on July 27 – 29. After reviewing and examining the center's guidelines, policies, medical recordkeeping procedures, staff competency and environment of care, the DCF gave Lakeview an almost perfect score of 99.7.
Lakeview Health Systems was thrilled to receive such a distinguished rating. Jonathan Huttner, Lakeview Health Systems' VP of Marketing said, "People from every state in the nation come to Lakeview for their addiction treatment needs and we are very proud of our staff and the extremely high level of patient care we provide. It is wonderful that our hard work was recognized by the Department of Children and Families. Very few inpatient treatment centers receive such a high score."
