In the wake of Kristen Stewart’s cheating scandal, Robert Pattinson reportedly sought help from his Water for Elephants co-star Reese Witherspoon. People magazine reports the 26-year-old actor is currently staying at Witherspoon’s vacation home in Ojai, California.
Meanwhile, Stewart reportedly moved out of the L.A. home she shared with Pattinson over the weekend. Sources say Pattinson requested the move. It is unclear where Stewart is now living.
Stewart, 22, admitted last week to a brief fling with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Her confession came just one day after Us Weekly magazine published pictures of her kissing Sanders, 42, during a secret meeting in Los Angeles on July 17. She immediately apologized to Pattinson.
“I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," she said in a statement.
Pattinson has not commented, but insiders say the scandal been “such a blow” to the Twilight star. "The entire thing has been such a blow to Rob. Talk about having his heart ripped out," a source told People. "Rob just isn't going to be able to get past the cheating – one time or not."
