60,000 Seniors Have Canceled AARP Service; American Seniors Assn. Adding Members

Thousands of seniors have reported canceled their service with AARP due to misinterpretations about the company’s stance on the health care issues.

According to reports, 60,000 seniors have canceled their AARP service since July 1.

American Seniors Association serves as another option for elderly citizens who want to join an organization that has their best interests in mind. ASA has recently allowed for former AARP customers to mail in their torn AARP cards and receive a 2 year-for-1 year membership with ASA.

ASA is "looking out for seniors by fighting a health care reform bill that will cost upward of $1.8 trillion over the next 10 years and cuts in Medicare of $500 billion," according to the American Seniors Association website.

ASA is focused on providing choices, information and services for elderly.
