The dispute between Novartis and U.K.based GlaxoSmithKline focuses on the techniques used to produce a set of vaccines aimed at preventing childhood illnesses, including bacterial meningitis, Dow Jones Newswires reported, citing an unnamed person close to the situation. The legal action by Novartis, launched a week and a half ago, is in response to Glaxo's legal action against Novartis.
