The Rock Island County Health Department has reported its 18th case of hepatitis A stemming from an outbreak that began about a month ago.

Theresa Foes, a spokeswoman for the health department said "This individual is a household contact to one of the cases reported the week of July 13,". The person in question did not get immunized against the disease, she added. More than 5,300 people were immunized at clinics the department offered last month.
