Jay-Z Unveils Track Listing for “The Blueprint 3” Album
Jay-Z, the
Grammy Award-winning hip-hop artist, released the track listing to his highly
anticipated album “The Blueprint 3” on Wednesday.
The album’s
radio singles “D.O.A. (Death of Autotune)” and “Run This Town,” which features
Rihanna and Kanye West, will be track 3 and 4, respectively.
The album
will begin with “What We Talkin’ About” (featuring Luke Steele of Empire of the
Sun), followed by “Thank You” and the two radio singles.
“Real As It
Gets” featuring Young Jeezy and “On To The Next One” featuring Swizz Beatz will
follow the fifth track, which is “Empire State of Mind” featuring Alicia Keys.
Jay-Z also
features three new acts in Lil Wayne’s protégé Drake on “Off That”, J. Cole,
the first artist signed to the newly formed Roc Nation, on “A Star Is Born”,
and Kid Cudi on “Already Home”. Mr. Hudson croons with Jigga on “Young Hudson”.
Super-producers
Kanye West and Pharrell will be featured on “Hate” and “So Ambitious”,
respectively, while Jay-Z raps solo on “Venus vs. Mars” and “Reminder”.
“The Blueprint
3” will be released on Sept. 11, the same date of the original release of “The
Blueprint” in 2001.
