Usain Bolt
reached the 200 meters final in the 2009 World Track & Field Championships
on Wednesday.
Bolt set
the world record for the 100 meters on Sunday, winning the event in 9.58
seconds.
Bolt is
currently the world record holder with 19.30 seconds and can easily break Tyson
Gay’s World Championships record of 19.76. Defending champion Gay is injured
and out of the 200.
Bolt is
looking to help Jamaica gain a 3-0 edge on the United States in the sprint
events, coming close to mirroring the 5-0 edge they had over the U.S. in the
2008 Olympics.

200-meter champion Allyson Felix will face off with Olympic champion Veronica
Campbell-Brown of
