Attorneys and staff from Costello & Mains, employment and civil rights attorneys, participated in an "Equality Walk" sponsored by Garden State Equality, in an attempt to raise funds to override any Gubernatorial Veto of successful Equal Marriage Legislation in New Jersey. The walk took place on Saturday, June 23, 2012, and the Costello & Mains law firm fielded a large contingent after raising funds in order to participate.
"The weather was wonderful and the walk was for a great cause," says partner Kevin Costello. "My wife and nine year old son both participated in the walk with me and I am proud that so many attorneys and staff from our office, as well as spouses, also choose to join us. Costello & Mains is committed to civil and equal Employment and Civil Rights in this State, and I have personally, and the firm has been, longtime supporters of equal marriage initiatives and legislation in our State. Love is love and marriage is marriage. They have nothing whatsoever to do with gender and everything to do with
promoting family values and a healthy and stable family base in our State. We are proud to support Garden State Equality, I am proud to be a Board Member of that Organization, and we were proud to participate in this year's Walk."
