It’s hard to imagine that the man who has won People magazine’s “sexiest man alive” title twice, might feel that he should just settle for “man alive.”
The 45-year-old bachelor has been linked to some of Hollywood’s most beautiful women over the years and he continues to date some of the hottest stars.
But things have changed for Clooney since he first took that People title in 1997. Almost ten years have elapsed and the actor has said he feels the aches and pains of life every morning. The days of relying on a smile and nod to land the girl are over, so he says.
Clooney was asked about his almost mythical ability to land the beautiful girl and the legend that has grown surrounding his single status. So does he still have the wit and charm to land any woman he wants? “Um, ah, no, because I also wake up and my knees hurt and I think, 'I'm 45’.” That’s what Clooney told Newsweek in their Dec 18 issue.
As for his movie career, that seems to still have legs. His newest flick “The Good German” is due out Dec.22. He has admitted that he enjoys directing a little more than acting but it was his role in 2005’s ‘Syriana” that earned him an Oscar. He was nominated for his director role in “Good Night, and Good Luck.”
While he was married for a brief spell to actress Talia Balsam in the early ‘90s it seems that Clooney has grown content with hanging out with good friends Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and enjoying the occasional mind ripping session with Danny Devito.
