Stevie Wonder is ready to end his marriage. The legendary singer has filed for divorce from his wife of 11 years, fashion designer Kai Millard Morris. Wonder, 62, lists the date of separation as October 2009 and cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
In addition to child support for their sons Kailand, 10, and Mandla, 7, Wonder has agreed to pay Morris spousal support. He is also seeking joint custody of Kailand and Mandla. Wonder and Morris have yet to come to an agreement on the division of assets.
Wonder, who is being represented by Hollywood divorce attorney Laura Wasser, has not commented. This was his second marriage; he was married to Motown singer Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1972.
