Last Monday Corning Inc. announced their donation of approximately $456,000 to helps typhoon Morakot relief efforts in southern Taiwan.

The donation is 15 million NTD (New Taiwan Dollars) and includes 2 million NTD donated by more than 1,000 Corning employees, the release stated. The funds will assist the victims of the flooding.
