Ranowear, Inc. owner of online retailer BodyBody.com reports solid earnings for the Second Quarter of 2012. After a slow start due largely to the cool weather that depressed the vacation market, swimwear sales picked up briskly in May and June. Non holiday sexy dress and sexy lingerie sales held up while
sexy bras and
sexy panties continued to provide a solid base of conversions.
Swimwear sales were also helped by the introduction of the Summer 2012 styles from designer Ujena and the wider selection of DD-Cup and
DDD-Cup swimsuit tops than in years past. The introduction of a Filene’s Basement type super low price bargain department has helped attract customers to Body Body. An aggressive PPC campaign for “Cheap Swimsuits” attracted a large number of buyers who can be converted into loyal customers.
Body Body is expanding its product offering to strengthen its traditionally slower late summer and back to school seasons. Sexy novelties and crystal and gold jewelry, all of which made their appearance on Body Body last year will be heavily promoted as a prelude to the holiday gift giving season. Body Body has already stocked a large selection of sexy costumes and lingerie in anticipation of the Halloween kickoff to the holidays.
“Body Body’s new marketing campaigns have begun to show encouraging results,” states Ranowear President and CEO, Willis Domingo. “Our goal for the end of summer and early fall is to build on past gains and position our inventory and advertising budget for a successful holiday season.”
