This week on The Bachelor Pad, the bachelors and bachelorettes took a trip away from the mansion for their next challenge. The group was divided into pairs for a relay race in which the girls had to race through a giant tub of ice cream, climb a rope wall, slide down a hot fudge wall, top themselves with nuts and then use a sack to hop to their partners. They guys had to complete the obstacle course backwards. The first guy to finish the course by eating a cherry at the end won roses for himself and his partner. The last guy to finish got one vote against himself and his partner.
Jamie is the first girl through the course, but Ed loses her lead and ends up not being able to get over the hot fudge wall. They each get votes against them. Michael and David reached their cherries at the same time, but David was a split second earlier. David earned roses and dates for himself and his partner Rachel.
For his date, David chooses Blakeley, Jamie and Erica. They all enjoy their own private prom before David is forced to hand out the date rose. He gave it to Jamie despite Blakeley’s attempts to bully him into giving it to her. Blakeley felt that David owed her for taking him on a date and helping keep him safe last week.
Rachel chose to take Michael, Tony and Nick on her date. They headed to Madame Tussaud’s wax museum where they were made up to look like wax figures so they could scare fans viewing the Bachelor/Bachelorette exhibit. It came as no surprise that Rachel gave the date rose to her crush, Michael.
Back at the mansion, Jamie attempted to cuddle up to Chris. Chris rebuffed her advances, giving her the “it’s not you, it’s me" line. Jamie was not happy and gave Chris a piece of her mind about his attitude. Meanwhile, Reid pretended to be Ed’s friend, but then plotted to get him eliminated behind his back. Feeling guilty about her vote against Ed last week, Sarah told Ed all about Reid’s plan. Even with one vote against him, Ed managed to survive a second week of Reid campaigning to get him out of the game. Reid ended up being eliminated along with super fan Donna.
