After the nomination ceremony, Frank and Boogie are frustrated about their place in the game. Boogie fears being backdoored while Frank is just tired of being on the chopping block. Things get worse for the pair when Ian, realizing that he needs to abandon Frank and Boogie’s sinking ship, heads to the HOH room to talk about possibly joining the alliance in power. He seems reluctant to completely sever ties with his former coach and teammate, so Britney refuses to finalize a deal with him.
Danielle, Wil, Frank, Ian, Jenn and Shane play in the Power of Veto competition. The prize/punishment challenge involves throwing a ball in into numbered squares. The player with the lowest number in each round is eliminated and must pick a box that holds a prize or punishment. Players eliminated in later rounds can trade for other prizes.

Shane: Veto Ticket
Wil: $5,000
Jenn: Maui vacation
Ian: Dog’s Life – he must wear a dog costume, sleep in a dog kennel and be walked on a leash for 1 day
Frank: Big Brother Spiritard
Danielle: Power of Veto
After the competition, Ian decides he is ready to commit to an alliance with Danielle, Shane, Britney and Dan. He dubs their group ‘The Quack Pack.’
Boogie realizes he has a lot of work to do to save Frank, so he approaches Danielle with an offer. He pitches a six person alliance between himself, Frank, Danielle, Shane, Britney and Dan, as well as a backdoor plan to get Janelle out of the house. Danielle likes the idea immediately. With his work on Danielle done, Boogie sets out to convince Dan to go along with the plan. Their conversation is interrupted by Janelle and Britney. The girls propose a coaches alliance, but Boogie flat out refuses to work with Janelle unless she is willing to send Wil or Joe packing this week. Janelle is left speechless and refuses to agree to evicting one of her players. Boogie’s honesty about Janelle convinces Dan and Britney to trust him. The Quack Pack holds a vote on the decision and they decide to go with Boogie’s backdoor plan.
Later on, Boogie and Frank solidify their alliance with Britney, Dan, Danielle and Shane. Frank dubs them the Silent Six since they plan to keep the alliance and backdoor plan a secret.
At the POV ceremony, Danielle puts the plan into motion by removing Wil from the chopping block and making Janelle the replacement nominee.
