With just six weeks to go before the premiere of the first ever all-stars season of Dancing with the Stars, the celebrity and pro dancer pairings were revealed Monday morning on Good Morning America. Some of the all-stars have been reunited with their original partners, but the majority will dance with someone new.
Original pairings:
Kristie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas
Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke
Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani
New pairings:
Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff
Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough
Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy
Pamela Anderson and Tristan McManus
Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd
Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya
Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower
Fans can still vote on the thirteenth celebrity to compete. Either Carson Kressley, Kyle Massey or Sabrina Bryan will fill the final spot. The fan’s choice will be revealed on Good Morning America on August 27.
The all-star season will kick off on September 24 on ABC.
