Sparkle, starring Jordin Sparks, Whitney Houston, Derek Luke, Mike Epps, Carmen Ejogo, Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick and Cee Lo Green, opens in theaters Friday, August 17. The drama centers on three sisters whose rise to Motown fame is challenged by family problems.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 56 minutes and is rated PG 13 for drug material, domestic abuse, some violence, language, mature thematic content and smoking.
