Jennifer Aniston is not the only celebrity with engagement news this week – late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has confirmed longtime girlfriend Molly McNearney accepted his marriage proposal. People magazine reports the couple got engaged while vacationing at Kruger National Forest in South Africa. No other details were available.
Kimmel began dating McNearney, a writer for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, in 2009 shortly after his split from Sarah Silverman. This will be the first marriage for McNearney, 34, and the second for Kimmel, 44. Kimmel split from first wife Gina in 2002 after 14 years of marriage.
The talk show host’s engagement announcement comes just two days after actor-screenwriter Justin Theroux revealed he is set to wed Aniston. A rep for Theroux said the actor-screenwriter popped the question last Friday.
"Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage," the rep told People magazine.
Theroux, 41, and Aniston, 43, began dating in May 2011 after meeting on the set of ‘Wanderlust.’
