Oracle Corporation .ORCL-Oracle CEO Ellison To Be offered a base salary of $1 in fiscal 2010

Larry Ellison, the Chief Executive of Oracle Corp. will get a base salary of $1 in fiscal year 2010, Oracle informed in a regulatory filing Friday.
Oracle's decision to pay Ellison the nominal salary, down from the $1 million he was paid in fiscal 2009 and in the two previous years, brings the CEO's base pay almost equalising with the Apple Inc. (AAPL) Chief Executive Steve Jobs, who also gets just $1 in base salary.
