Cisco Systems, Inc., Cisco, Avaya Sued By Visual Voicemail Patent Holder

Klausner Technologies Inc. a patent holder puts on court Cisco Systems Inc. and Avaya Inc. for infringing on a visual voicemail patent.
The said Technology has also pending suits against Yahoo.Inc. Qwest Communications International Inc., Ribbit, Spin,Vox and Ooma. The company has made settlement over the very same issue with Apple Inc. and AT&T Inc last year.
Only this week, in the eastern district of Texas, a court known for handling aggressive technology, Klausner Technology filed a claim against Cisco and Avaya. Judah Klausner is known of owning 25 patents worldwide and his company says 24 companies are licensing his visual voicemail intellectual property. Just a week ago, Embarq Corp. signed an agreement with Klausner Technologies to assist with licensing the visual voicemail technology.
