The houseguests were tempted with money and safety in the HOH competition, and most of them went after the temptations. The competition involved the players traveling across a slippery surface to transfer liquid from a barrel to their HOH, safety or $10,000 jar. The winners of the temptations could not win HOH.
Boogie immediately starts on his money jar, while Britney, Jenn, Dan, Joe and Ashley all go for their safety jars. Only Shane, Danielle and Ian start on their HOH jars. Shane takes an early lead for HOH, and Britney and Dan are in a close race for safety. Britney wins safety first, forcing Jenn, Dan, Joe and Ashley to start on their HOH jars. While Boogie finishes his $10,000 jar, Dan works hard to catch up to Shane and Danielle for HOH. Shane maintains his lead and wins HOH for the second time.
After the competition, Ian goes to Britney with comments Boogie made before the live show. Ian reveals that Boogie asked him if he would put up Britney or Shane if he won HOH. Ian and Britney immediately tell the rest of the Quack Pack. They all agree that it is time to break up the Silent Six alliance by nominating Boogie and Frank for eviction.
The Quack Pack’s decision to go after Boogie and Frank is jeopardized when the houseguests discover a question mark cube in the arcade room. Shane fears the cube could affect nominations and he considers going after floaters instead of Boogie and Frank. At the nomination ceremony, Shane sticks with the original plan. He nominates Frank and Boogie for eviction.
