Prince Harry, who is third in line to the British throne behind his father Prince Charles and older brother Prince William, is said to be “in trouble” with the royal family over nude pictures published Tuesday night on TMZ.com. A rep for the family said they “have no comment to make on the photos at this time.”
TMZ reports the photos were taken last Friday in a Las Vegas hotel suite during a game of strip pool. One of the pictures shows Harry, 27, completely naked and cupping his genitals with his hands while a naked woman stands close behind him. In another picture, Harry has his bare bottom turned towards the camera as he hugs a naked woman from behind.
"This is a mess. This was not the type of fun he was supposed to be having. He's in trouble,” an insider tells Us Weekly magazine.
This is not the first time Prince Harry has found himself at the center of a scandal. He was criticized in 2005 when he wore a Nazi uniform to a costume party. "I am very sorry if I caused any offense or embarrassment to anyone. It was a poor choice of costume and I apologize,” he said in a statement at the time.
