ACO Cornhole Pros to compete Saturday August 29, 2009 in the Monster Energy ACO World Cornhole Championship on Fountain Square in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This invitation only cornhole tournament is comprised of the Top 16 CornyForty national players who will vie for a $7,500.00 purse. The CornyForty is a list of over 100 professional cornhole players, men and women, who compete in American Cornhole Organization sanctioned cornhole tournaments. These elite players accumulate points playing in the ACO cornhole sport sanctioned events throughout the year. The accumulated points determine the player’s CornyForty rank and afford the player the benefits of a higher ranking. The Fountain Square ACO World Cornhole Championship invitation is an example of that special recognition.
The Monster / ACO World Cornhole Tournament is run in conjunction with the Cincinnati Tailgate 2009 Celebration sponsored by Kroger and benefiting the Easter Seals Work Resource Center.
