PhoneNews.com reported the pending of sales of the 6650 clamshell due to a network enhancement by the AT&T the cause leads to a network enhancement being rolled out in South Florida causing the clamshell to suffer noticeably decreased battery life and even triggering constant phone resets.
They added that AT&T representatives confirm the unnamed network enhancement which is meant to be deployed nationwide, AT&T had no choice but to pull the phone from sale instructing dealers and reps to ship all unsold phones to its Dallas distribution center, with no immediate word on what affected consumers should do.
