Freddie Mac FRE, Freddie Mac: A mixed-rates of $2.5 billion bills sold

Freddie Mac announced that it sold $2.5 billion of bills at mixed rates and demand compared with the most recent sales of the same sizes and maturities.

$1 billion of six-month bills, due Feb. 22, 2010, at a 0.260 percent rate, down from a 0.280 percent rate for its $1 billion of bills auctioned on the 17th this month was sold by Freddie Mac. With the demand for the three-month bills was stronger with a bid-to-cover ratio of 3.65, up from 3.55 in the Aug. 17 sale, Freddie Mac also auctioned $500 million of 12-month bills, due Aug. 23, 2010, at 0.470 percent rate, up from a rate 0.460 percent for bills sold June 1, 2009.
