Baltimore, Maryland December 22, 2006 – LAST MINUTE GIFT WRAP AND HOLIDAY DECORATING IDEAS BY SIMPLY PUT INTERIORS TO BE FEATURED ON WBAL-TV 11. Simply Put Interiors shares holiday decorating ideas Sunday, December 24, 2006 on 11 News Sunday Morning. With many holiday shoppers crossing the finish line as the stores close on Christmas Eve, some will need last minute advice on how to wrap the goods. Especially if they have forgotten to buy wrapping paper or run out. Others may need advice on quick decorating ideas. Paula Henry, owner of Simply Put Interiors will be sharing some of her creative ideas.
Says Henry, “I love to step out of the box and come up with fun and creative solutions.” One of her suggestions is to wrap gifts in brown paper bags which can be decorated in countless ways. “Use string as a ribbon and steal an ornament from the tree and tie it on, or get the kids in on the action. Let them color or write personal messages on the gift.” Henry even offers a solution if you run out of boxes. “Roll your gift in tissue paper or fabric and tie the ends to look like candy.”
Decorating with candles, especially during the holidays, creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. During the segment which will air in the 9 a.m. hour this Christmas Eve, Henry will demonstrate some beautiful and simple holiday decorating ideas. She will also show viewers how to transform a Christmas centerpiece into one that can be used for New Years.
