NBA Scores from Dec.20; Mehmet Okur, Jermaine O’Neal, Mo Williams, and Vince Carter lead their teams to wins.

The Utah Jazz (19-7) overcame a 21-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Atlanta Hawks (9-15) 112-106. After outscoring the Jazz 39-19 in the third quarter the hawks were pounded in the fourth 40-13. Mehmet Okur scored 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Deron Williams scored 13 points and handed out 9 assists in the win. Joe Johnson led the Hawks with 27 points. Josh Smith finished with 23 points and 12 rebounds for Atlanta.

Grant Hill scored 21 points and had 7 rebounds while Dwight Howard ended the night with 16 points and 13 rebounds as the Orlando Magic (17-10) beat the NO/Oklahoma City Hornets (10-14) 86-83. Chris Paul led the Hornets with 19 points and 10 assists and Tyson Chandler pulled down 11 rebounds in the loss.

Jermaine O’Neal scored 34 points and had 11 rebounds and Stephen Jackson scored 25 points as the Indiana Pacers (14-13) beat the Philadelphia 76ers (5-19) 101-93. The loss was the 76ers 12th in a row. Andre Iguodala and Kyle Korver each scored 20 points for the 76ers.

The Golden State Warriors (13-14) snapped the Boston Celtics (10-14) five game winning streak with a 96-95 win. Baron Davis led the Warriors with 31 points and had 8 assists while Andris Biedrins scored 12 points and had 9 rebounds in the win. Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 27 points and Al Jefferson scored 13 points and had 11 rebounds.

David Lee tipped-in a long inbounds pass at the buzzer to lift the New York Knicks (11-17) past the Charlotte Bobcats (6-18) in double overtime 111-109. Channing Frye led the Knicks with 30 points and Eddy Curry had 29 points and 9 rebounds. David Lee finished with 19 rebounds for New York. Gerald Wallace led the Bobcats with 28 points.

Mo Williams recorded a triple-double with 19 points, 10 assists, and 11 rebounds and the Milwaukee Bucks (11-14) beat the Miami Heat (11-14) 121-95. Michael Redd led the scoring for the Bucks with 28 points. Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 27 points and 8 assists.

The Los Angeles Lakers (17-9) outscored the Minnesota Timberwolves (10-12) 34-7 in the fourth quarter to win 111-94. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 24 points and Andrew Bynum grabbed 9 rebounds in the win. The Lakers shot just under 57 percent from the field. Kevin Garnett finished with 22 points 11 rebounds and 8 assists and Ricky Davis scored 22 points as well.

Vince Carter scored 38 points and Jason Kidd scored 9 points, had 8 rebounds, and 10 assists to lead the New Jersey Nets (11-14) past the Cleveland Cavaliers (14-10) 113-111. Nenad Krstic added 18 points for the Nets. Lebron James led the Cavaliers with 37 points and 8 assists.

Tim Duncan scored 21 points on 8-8 shooting from the field and grabbed 9 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs (20-6) beat the Memphis Grizzlies (6-20) 105-98. Tony Parker had 18 points and 10 assists for the Spurs as San Antonio held a 30-13 advantage in the assist category. Mike Miller led the Grizzlies with 22 points and 8 rebounds.

The Portland Trail Blazers (12-14) won their fifth straight game after beating the Houston Rockets (15-10) 89-87. Zach Randolph led the Trail Blazers with 24 points and 13 rebounds while Rafer Alston added 20 points and 8 assists. Yao Ming had 34 points and 9 rebounds in a losing effort.

T.J. Ford hit a game-winning buzzer beater to lift the Toronto Raptors (11-15) over the LA Clippers (10-14) 98-96. Fred Jones led the Raptors scoring attack with 23 points and Andrea Bargnani had 13 points and 7 rebounds. Elton Brand scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Clippers.

The Dallas Mavericks (19-7) overcame an 11-point halftime deficit to outscore the Seattle Supersonics (10-17) 58-39 in the second half and win 103-95. Eric Dampier scored 22 points and grabbed 16 rebounds and Jason Terry scored 17 points for the Mavericks. Luke Ridnour led the Sonics with 21 points and 9 assists.
