Donald Trump Threatens Lawsuit Against Rosie O’Donnell
Rosie O’Donnell’s Wednesday rant on The View claiming that Donald Trump was a “snake-oil-salesman” and calling into question his financial stability may have landed her in the Donald’s cross-hairs. Trump, the star of The Apprentice and real estate baron has threatened to sue The View’s controversial host.
O’Donnell posted a blog detailing Trump’s reported financial troubles in 1990 as well as his current situation that Rosie claims has put Trump on the cusp of personal bankruptcy.
Incensed about the way Trump handled the Miss USA Tara Conner situation, Rosie blasted Trump, calling him a “snake-oil-salesman.” Trump allowed Conner to retain her Miss USA title despite her well chronicled patronage of New York City bars.
Trump called O’Donnell “a woman out of control” after hearing her comments and has threatened to sue the talk-show host for her comments concerning his economic stability. Taking exception to her claims Donald retorted calling Rosie “disgusting, both inside and out. You take a look at her, she's a slob.”
Seemingly enjoying the prospect of suing O’Donnell, Trump went onto say “I'd like to take some money out of her fatass pockets.” He even took a moment to let Rosie know her marriage may not be safe “I imagine it would be pretty easy to take her girlfriend away, considering how Rosie looks.”
The basis of Trumps rumored lawsuit would surround Rosie’s false statements concerning his financial well-being, the Dondald said,“You can’t make false statements.”
