J.K. Rowling and Scholastic Announce Title of Final Harry Potter Book

J.K. Rowling will end the Harry Potter saga in her seventh book titled “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” While Rowling is still working on the children’s book and no publication date yet announced, anticipation for how it all ends for the boy wizard has continued to grow.

With over 375 million Harry Potter books sold since 1995, Rowling is reportedly worth over $1 billion dollars, an almost miraculous turn of events from her humble beginnings. Much of Rowling’s first book, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” was written while she was unemployed and receiving state assistance.

In speaking about penning book Rowling stated “I don't think anyone who has not been in a similar situation can possibly know how this feels: I am alternately elated and overwrought. I both want, and don't want, to finish this book.”

Rowling recently revealed that at least two characters would die in the final book and that Harry Potter himself could be one of them.
