The Detroit Pistons (16-8) had six players score in double figures as they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers (14-11) 87-71. Chauncey Billups scored 17 points and dished out 10 assists and Antonio McDyess came off the bench to score 11 points and grab 11 rebounds to pace the Pistons. The Cavaliers were led by LeBron James who scored 26 points and had 10 rebounds but Cleveland shot just 34 percent from the field. The Cavaliers dropped to 11-3 at home.
Antawn Jamison scored 33 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while Gilbert Arenas finished with 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists as the Washington Wizards (13-12) went on the road and beat the Sacramento Kings (10-14) 126-119. Sacramento held a 6 point lead at half but the Wizards outscored the Kings 44-24 in the third period to take control of the game. Kevin Martin scored 40 points for the Kings.
