Florida Marlins ace Dontrelle Willis was arrested Friday morning and charged with drunk driving after a Miami police officer administered a field sobriety test which the former NL Rookie of the Year failed.
Miami Beach police spokesman Bobby Hernandez said "He couldn't keep his balance, he had a strong smell of alcohol," Hernandez said.
The officer witnessed Willis get out of his black Bentley and urinate on the street before re-entering his car. The 24-year-old lefthander refused a breath test at the police station and was being held on $1,000 bond.
