Snooki Shows Off Son On People Magazine Cover

Snooki proudly shows off her 1 week old baby boy Lorenzo Dominic on the cover of the upcoming issue of People magazine. Inside the issue, Snooki and her fiancé Jionni LaValle dish about picking Lorenzo’s name and being first time parents.

Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, gave birth to Lorenzo on Sunday, August 26 after more than 24 hours of labor. The 24-year-old instantly fell in love with her son, telling People it is “a different kind of love that I never felt before.”

"When I got pregnant, everything changed. The partying is long gone. I'm a new person,” she says.

As for their son’s name, LaValle thought of Lorenzo and Polizzi chose Dominic to honor her late uncle. "We were going back and forth, and I just happened to think of Lorenzo. She loved it,” LaValle says.

"I did it for my dad," Polizzi tells People of Lorenzo’s middle name.

Polizzi, 24, will appear next in the sixth and final season of Jersey Shore. After Jersey Shore ends, fans can catch Polizzi and her Jersey Shore costar JWoww on the second season of their spinoff Snooki & JWoww.
