Herman J. Cohen, a former top State Department official, has joined the board of directors of Hyperdynamics Corp.
Cohen, who had a 38-year career with the U.S. Foreign Service, was serving as Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs from 1989 to 1993 under President George H.W. Bush, and was the U.S. ambassador to Senegal, with accreditation to Gambia, from 1977 to 1980.
