Venus and Serena Williams partner with Miami Dolphins

Venus and Serena Williams are among the select celebrities to have part ownership with NFL team the Miami Dolphins.  The sisters are the first female African American owners.  The two currently reside in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida which is about an hour from the stadium.  Other celebrity owners include Gloria Estefan and Marc Anthony. 

 

Owner Steve Ross introduced the tennis stars as limited partners on Tuesday.  He also gave them Jerseys.  Venus chose number 11 to represent her EleVen clothing line, and Serena picked number 89 in memory of her sister her died in 2003.  Her birthday was August 9.

 

The sisters are extremely excited about their new business venture.  They plan to attend charity events and participate in cross promotions.  We wish the Venus sisters all the luck with all their future endeavors.
