Amanda Bynes Loses License Following Hit And Run Charges

Amanda Bynes’ legal troubles just got a little more serious. According to the Los Angeles Times, Bynes’ driver’s license has been suspended in the wake of two new hit-and-run charges and a previous drunk driving charge. The 26-year-old has not commented on her license suspension.

Bynes’s DUI arrest occurred on April 6 when she crashed into a police car in West Hollywood and refused a breathalyzer test. Four days later she allegedly fled the scene of an accident on an L.A. freeway. On August 4, Bynes reportedly rear-ended a car and left the scene.

The actress is due in court on September 27. She could face up to 1 year in jail for the hit-and-run charges.

Bynes is perhaps best known for starring on the Nickelodeon shows "All That" and "The Amanda Show." Her film credits include "What a Girl Wants," "She’s The Man," "Hairspray" and "Easy A."
