Michael Jackson to Re-Launch Career in Las Vegas
The King of Pop is reportedly set to begin performing in the same city another King once held reign. Much like Elvis did late in his career, Michael Jackson appears set to establish Las Vegas as his new kingdom.
Jackson arrived in “Sin City” Saturday night marking the first time the entertainer stepped foot on American soil in 18 months. Jackson was acquitted of child abuse charges a year and a half ago and since that time he has been living in Ireland and Bahrain.
Reports have indicated that Jackson has struck a deal with Vegas promoter Jack Wishna that would put the icon back on the stage. Wishna has worked on Vegas deals for Wayne Newton and Britney Spears.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal quoted Wishna as saying “one of the greatest entertainers in the world . . . is poised to return to the top of the entertainment world soon.”
