FORD MOTOR CO F, Ford to Raise Output at Two Plants

Ford Motor Co. will return two plants in Michigan and Missouri to three shifts as part of a previously announced plan to boost vehicle production for the remainder of the year.

The third shifts will be added at the Dearborn, Mich., truck plant, which produces F-150 pickups, in September and the Kansas City Assembly plant, which builds Escape sport-utility vehicles, in October.

Ford said it is also on track in August to post its first monthly year-over-year sales increase in its F-series trucks since October 2006.
