Mizuho Financial Group Inc MFG, Mizuho planned to increase pref security issuance

Mizuho Financial Group , Japan's second-largest bank by assets, said it would issue 72.5 billion yen ($764 million) in preferred securities, bringing its planned issuance to more than originally announced.

Mizuho said in May it would issue about 200 billion yen in preferred securities, which are not convertible to common stock, by August. It issued 139.5 billion yen in June, meaning the total will be 212 billion yen.
