NBA Scores from Dec. 27; LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Gilbert Arenas, and Stephon Marbury lead their teams to wins.

LeBron James scored 27 points and had 9 rebounds as the Cleveland Cavaliers (16-11) built a 13 point lead by halftime and eased to an 89-76 win over the Atlanta Hawks (9-18). Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Cavs. Zaza Pachulia led the Hawks with 22 points and 7 rebounds.
 
Kobe Bryant scored 27 points and dished out 7 assists while Smush Parker added 20 points and the LA Lakers (19-10) beat the Orlando Magic (17-13) 106-93. The road win evened the Lakers road record to 6-6. Grant Hill led the Magic with 20 points and Dwight Howard finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds.
 
T.J. Ford scored 28 points and Anthony Parker had 19 points as the Toronto Raptors (13-16) beat the Minnesota Timberwolves (12-14) 100-97. The Timberwolves held a 5 point lead going into the fourth but Toronto outscored Minnesota 29-21 in the final period. Kevin Garnett scored 24 points and had 9 rebounds in the Wolves loss.
 
The Washington Wizards (16-12) scored 32 points in the fourth quarter to overcome a one point deficit and beat the Charlotte Bobcats (7-21) 114-107. Gilbert Arenas scored 39 points and handed out 8 assists and Antawn Jamison had 17 points and 11 rebounds. Gerald Wallace had 40 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Bobcats.
 
Shane Battier scored 23 points and had 9 rebounds and the Houston Rockets (17-12) went on the road and crushed the New Jersey Nets (11-18) 96-71. The Rockets out-rebounded the Nets 54-32 and held them to just 32.9 percent shooting from the field. Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter were a combined 9-31 for 23 points.
 
Stephon Marbury had 41 points and 8 assists, Eddy Curry had 33 points, Jamal Crawford had 29 points, and Channing Frye scored 26 points as the New York Knicks (13-18) beat the Detroit Pistons (18-9) 151-145 in triple overtime. Richard Hamilton led all scorers with 51 points for Detroit.
 
Michael Redd and Charlie Bell each scored 20 points as the Milwaukee Bucks (15-14) beat the Memphis Grizzlies (6-24) 112-96. The Bucks got 19 points from Ruben Patterson and 18 points from Mo Williams in the win. Pau Gasol scored 29 points for Memphis in the loss.
 
The Chicago Bulls (17-12) improved to 13-2 at home after beating the Miami Heat (13-15) 109-103. Ben Gordon scored 40 points for the Bulls while Ben Wallace and Luol Deng each finished with 11 rebounds. Dwyane Wade sprained his wrist in the first quarter and had to leave the game. Jason Williams led the Heat with 28 points.
 
The Portland Trail Blazers (13-16) held an 8 point lead at the half and extended their lead to 20 after the third quarter as they beat the NO/Oklahoma City Hornets (11-17) 100-85. Zach Randolph had 26 points and 11 rebounds and Ime Udoka had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Portland. Desmond Mason led the Hornets with 16 points and 7 rebounds.
 
Mike Bibby scored 21 points and Kenny Thomas had 8 points and 9 rebounds as the Sacramento Kings (12-14) beat the Philadelphia 76ers (7-21) 101-76. Kevin Martin added 18 points for the Kings and Brad Miller scored 13 points. Sacramento committed just 6 turnovers in the game.
 
Elton Brand scored 25 points and had 10 rebounds while Tim Thomas added another 25 points as the LA Clippers (12-16) beat the Boston Celtics (10-17) 100-77. Corey Maggette finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Clippers. Al Jefferson led the Celtics with 10 points and 14 rebounds. The Celtics shot just 32 percent from the field.
