Los Angeles, CA- Britney Spears has reached a deal with her former bodyguard who accused her of repeatedly sexually harassing him, according to TMZ.
The suit was filed two years ago by Spears’ bodyguard Fernando Flores who accused the pop singer of being a “naked menace,” and said she abused her children. Flores alleges that Spears would purposely drop her lighter and bend over to expose her uncovered genitals, and she did this repeatedly. Flores also said that she would call him into her room while she was naked to ask for small favors.
More shocking was the ways she treated her children. Flores said Spears allegedly had sex while he and her children were in the same room. He also stated she would feed her children crab despite the fact that they were allergic to it and would hit them with belts.
Spears vehemently denied the allegations.
According to the court documents TMZ obtained, Flores and Spears settled the lawsuit for a very modest sum. According to some reports the settlement amount wasn’t even enough to cover Flores’ sexual harassment attorney fees, so he must have decided that going forward with case wouldn’t be worth the cost.
Though the majority of the publicized cases of sexual harassment are filed by women, there are also a large number of men who are subjected to a hostile work environment. Regardless of a person’s gender, sexual harassment can cause a great deal of anxiety and emotional distress and ending it is possible with the help of a legal expert.
