Former heavyweight boxing champion of the world, Mike Tyson, was arrested early Friday morning for possession of cocaine and driving under the influence.
The arrest was made in Scottsdale, Arizona after Tyson nearly hit a sheriff’s vehicle while he was driving from a nightclub. Tyson was stopped and was administered a field sobriety test which indicated that the 40-year-old fighter was impaired.
Officers then searched Tyson and found cocaine in a pocket as well as three bags of a white substance in his car.
Tyson was booked and he is expected to appear before a judge later on Friday where bail will be determined.
