Two American Sailors Die After Falling from Submarine
Two U.S. sailors who fell overboard when the USS Minneapolis left Plymouth harbor have died. Four members of the U.S. vessel were tossed from the submarine as it was leaving the Devonport naval base on the southern coast of England
All four sailors were airlifted ashore and rushed to a nearby hospital but two members of the crew were pronounced dead. No names have been released.
The U.S. Navy has confirmed the accident. Investigation into what caused the accident is under way.
