Soil-Away announces the hiring of their new Director of Strategic Operations - Mike Ericsson
Soil-Away Cleaning and Restoration Services, one of the largest and most well regarded non-franchised cleaning and restoration companies in New England, announces the hiring of their new Director of Strategic Operations- Mike Ericsson.
Ericsson will be a key member of the management team with responsibility for several functional areas. He will work with outside operations, client services, finance, marketing, and business development to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement in all areas. "We are anticipating Mike to give us a great boost, specifically in our restoration services line: water mitigation, fire damage clean-up, and mold remediation," says Founder, COO - Jack Solloway.
One of Ericsson's first tasks will be to help streamline the current estimating and invoicing process. "Efficiency and accuracy are key when estimating a flood damage claim or mold removal job," says Senior Estimator Jon Tripp. "Having Mike here to help the property damage claim invoicing process will be a huge benefit for Soil-Away."
Ericsson's first weeks have consisted of learning the ropes. "There is a lot going on here," stated the newcomer. "In any given day, we will have six to eight crews all doing different things. We will be carpet cleaning in Andover, MA; roof cleaning in Windham, NH; duct cleaning in Manchester, NH; cleaning up a flood in Exeter, NH; performing fire damage restoration in Plymouth, NH: and estimating a mold removal project in Concord, NH. We are all over New Hampshire and Northern Mass."
Ericsson's prior experiences are a strong fit for the Soil-Away operation. He served several years in the construction industry performing project management and estimating. Ericsson more recently worked with Amazon as a personal development coordinator, implementing best practices for up to 220 employees at a time. Ericsson holds a Master of Organizational Leadership degree from Southern New Hampshire University and a bachelor degree in Safety Studies from Keene State.
"I am excited about my new position with Soil-Away," says Ericsson. "The company has a vision of growth that I can contribute positively to." Welcome to the Soil-Away team Mike!
