Arizona Restaurant Week Makes a Delicious Stop at Glendale's Arrowhead Grill

Arizona Restaurant Week is back and Arizona foodies have a chance to discover one of the Valley’s best culinary experiences - Chef Charles Schwerd and Arrowhead Grill.

The week-long celebration of food, which runs from Sept. 15-23, offers a special prix fixe menu created by Schwerd which costs only $40 per person (tax and gratuity are not included) and features some of Arrowhead Grill's best dishes.

The three-course meal begins with a choice of a Caesar salad, house salad, chopped salad or a delicious cup of Arrowhead Grill's clam chowder.

For the main course for Arizona Restaurant Week, Schwerd has selected from some of his most popular dishes. Patrons can choose from Arrowhead Grill's signature 8-ounce Delmonico, a smoked rack of ribs, fire-roasted half chicken, macadamia-crusted Hawaiian sunfish, farm raised salmon or a sumptuous 16-ounce pork porterhouse.

Arizona Restaurant Week diners also receive a choice of one side for their second course: creamed spinach, creamed corn, maple mashed sweet potatoes or mashed Yukon potatoes. Additional sides such as sautéed asparagus, sweet potato fires or lobster twice-baked potato are available for an additional charge.

The third course during restaurant week is Schwerd’s much lauded AG butter cake. For an additional charge, patrons can experience a delicious cinnamon cake, Ghirardelli brownie or strawberries and chocolate fondue.

"The fun of Arizona Restaurant Week is it’s a great opportunity to experience new dishes, new flavors and new restaurants," Schwerd said. "We love the event because it gives us a chance to introduce Arizona foodies to all the west Valley has to offer."
